Agenda and Rechnungskit (beta): booking batches for Agenda tax advisors
Yes. Agenda Finanzbuchhaltung reads DATEV-format booking batches through its import wizard. Rechnungskit creates these batches every month for revenue and payments, from every connected store and payment provider, and adds the invoices as a documents ZIP. If you set Agenda as your tax advisor's software in Rechnungskit, Rechnungskit writes the file so that Agenda accepts it.
- Hosted in Germany (Hetzner)
- GoBD archive included
- DATEV export included
- Cancel monthly
Your firm books in Agenda. The invoice for each order comes first.
Agenda is software for tax advisors and businesses from Rosenheim, Germany, with its own accounting module. Many store tools only deliver data for DATEV. Agenda reads that format through its import wizard, but according to the Lexware help it has rejected DATEV's new three-digit tax keys since 30.06.2026. That is why Rechnungskit writes the Agenda file without those keys.
- Store tools mostly export for DATEV only
- Agenda rejects DATEV's three-digit tax keys on import
- Cancellation invoices on refunds by hand
- Untangling the payment providers' fees and payouts
- E-invoice (ZUGFeRD) for every order, automatically
- Cancellation invoice for every refund, no manual work
- Tax rate per country, OSS return included
- A monthly export that Agenda accepts
From sale to your tax advisor's Agenda accounts
Rechnungskit creates the invoice for every sale and the booking batches once a month. Your tax advisor reads them into Agenda, with the same data a DATEV firm gets.
- ZUGFeRD invoice per sale, GoBD-archived
- Cancellation invoice on refund
- Monthly: booking batch plus documents ZIP
- Import through Transfer › import wizard
- Booking batch and documents in one go
- Original invoices in the GoBD archive
- OSS return and EC Sales List
- Tax advisor access for your firm

What the Agenda firm gets from Rechnungskit.
How Rechnungskit and Agenda work together
Beta: Agenda support is new, and a test import with an Agenda firm is still pending. Best check the first import in a test client in Agenda and report anything odd to support@rechnungskit.de.
Rechnungskit writes the invoices from your store and payment providers. Your tax advisor books in Agenda. In between sits the same monthly export a DATEV firm gets: a booking batch for revenue, one for payments and the invoices as documents. More about the export itself is on the DATEV export page.
Agenda reads DATEV-format booking batches through Transfer › import wizard. The firm first chooses the booking file, then the ZIP file with the documents (Lexware help for tax advisors, in German). The documents ZIP is not unzipped, Agenda imports it zipped (Rechnungsrakete help, in German).
What Rechnungskit writes differently for Agenda
DATEV changed its tax keys (BU) from two to three digits. According to the Lexware help of 7 July 2026, this has caused import errors in Agenda since 30.06.2026. Most bookings from Rechnungskit are not affected: revenue at 19 %, 7 % and 0 %, tax-exempt sales, intra-community supplies and exports book through accounts with automatic tax, with no key at all.
Fees with tax key 506 are different. These are services for which you as the recipient owe the tax (§ 13b UStG), such as the fees of Stripe, Mollie, GoCardless and Klarna. For Agenda, Rechnungskit leaves out the key and books the tax explicitly: the fee net, plus input VAT under § 13b against output VAT under § 13b at 19 %. Your tax advisor can change the accounts (SKR04 1407 against 3837, SKR03 1577 against 1787) in the mappings. OSS sales to other EU countries with keys 240 and 250 stay unchanged for now; a test import with an Agenda firm is still pending, and until then the export check points out these lines.
What Rechnungskit doesn't do
Rechnungskit transfers nothing directly into Agenda. Through Agenda Connect (in German), connected partner programs send documents to Agenda; Rechnungskit is not one of them, and we have not found a public interface for bookings. Rechnungskit doesn't replace Agenda either: bank reconciliation, incoming invoices and day-to-day bookkeeping stay with your tax advisor.
Who this is for
For online retailers and digital sellers whose tax advisor works with Agenda. Rechnungskit connects to Shopify, WooCommerce, Shopware, Stripe, PayPal, Mollie and Klarna. The information about Agenda comes from public help pages (as of October 2026) and may change.
Agenda and Rechnungskit: frequently asked questions
Rechnungskit is not a tax advisory or law firm. This article explains general principles and does not replace advice from a tax advisor (Steuerberater, § 5 StBerG) or a lawyer (§ 3 RDG). Rechnungskit is built for businesses based in Germany and prepares documents, tax rates and bookings automatically. How your specific case is treated remains your decision, ideally together with your tax advisor or a lawyer.
